My Research Interests are generally in alignment with my Professional work. Most of my publications are on how to implement industrial strength, intelligent applications by leveraging and extending the State of the Art in AI technologies.

Most of my work is in the area of Case-Based Reasoning, Recommender Systems, Personalization, Adaptive Systems, Social Network Analysis as well as Information Retrieval. The application areas in which I worked range from Predictive Diagnostics / Preventive Maintenance Applications to Technical Self-Service Applications, from Expertise Locators to Automated Package Planning, and from Sales Support Applications to the Prediction of Client Issues. As long as there is data and it can be analyzed and delivered in interesting ways, I am intrigued.
